Jürgen Mayer H. studied arquitetura at the Stuttgart University, The Cooper Union and Princeton University. In 1996 founded in Berlin the J. MAYER. H. Architects' Studio office, focused on the intersection of architecture, communication and new technologies. Development planning and urban buildings to workstation, exhibits and objects with new materials, sustainable in the relationship between the human body, technology and nature are the principles for the production of new spaces.

Mayer's work has been published and exhibited worldwide, as part of numerous collections, including MoMA in New York and SF MoMA. He has received numerous national and international awards, including in 2003 the special mention award for emerging architects Mies van-der-Rohe, the Holcim Award Bronze in 2005 and the Audi Urban Future Award 2010. Jürgen Mayer H. also taught at Princeton University, University of the Arts Berlin, Harvard, Kunsthochschule Berlin, London Architectural Association, Columbia University and University of Toronto.
