The idea in this series is to show beautiful and inspiring houses. Houses that are remarkable for its design, elegance, elements, concept or simply because they are beautiful. So if you like architecture, interior design and beautifully designed houses, you are at the right spot. Check out this week beautiful house and stay tuned for more...
This week we present you the beautiful Lake Lugano.
Lake Lugano is a project by JM Architecture, a firm based in Milano. The Lake Lugano house stands on the slope of a hill, on the shores of Lake Lugano. The place is a polygonal glass pavilion with rounded edges overlooking two different areas: a mountain and a garden overlooking the lake. The project also pays great attention to environmental aspects and uses geothermal energy, rain water collection system and highly efficient low-emittance glass insulated with argon gas.
This place is simply amazing. Besides being super beautiful, modern and clean the rounded edges give the house a kind of retro look and all the glass allow natural light to illuminate the place, which is great. And I also liked that the house is "eco friendly" ... definitely a nice place to live ;)
Check out JM Architecture website for further details about this and other projects. See you next time.
We found this house at Contemporist.
